freezingrayneThis post coming to you from a rather stressed, shitty-feeling headspace. Things have been sort of crazy around here lately, what with a sick family member, my mother doing crazy antics, and the ongoing search for a place to live.
My mom's landlord sold her house, so she has to move out. This would be all well and good, but she wants to move out of my sister's school district, which I think is a horrible idea. My sister is going to be a sophmore next year, and she really loves her school. I am pretty against pulling kids out of a good environment and putting them into an unknown one. So, to ensure that my sister will be able to stay at her school, my dad might rent out our house and rent a house in Urbana, where my mom currently lives.
Of course, I'm moving out next month (providing I can find a place to live) but it's sort of disconcerting to know your house won't be there when you get back. I feel like everything's so out of wack right now. I iz a depressed and tired person.
And I'm worried about the house hunt--we found a place that seemed really nice, and we were going to turn in an application for it today, but then one of the people I'm moving in with's dad told him that it would be good to look more. Which, okay, is fair, but I feel like it was a mistake, since we found a good place, and should have gone for it. Now we might not get it, since our realtor went on vacation and won't be back till Monday.
Ah well. What can you do.
