i need a break

...even though I just got back from spring break. I think I choked on an exam today, and I am having a lot of trouble focusing. It doesn't help that the weather has yet to warm up--we're supposed to get snow tomorrow, which almost never happens here this late into the year.

In other news, I've been playing the shit out of Dragon Age: Origins. I know I'm really into a game when I find myself thinking do I really have to go to class today? I should probably just stay home and play video games.. I haven't given into the urge, as of yet.

There's a frightenly enormous number of things to do in the game, sidequests all over the place, and I'm having a lot of fun romancing Alistair. He tends to like it when you're kind and honorable, which is good, since I always kind of default to that when I play a game with a lot of action/dialogue choices. I guess I just don't like to be mean.

I'm the same way, I can't be mean in those types of games. My warden was the nicest guy you ever could hope to meet. I'm still not quite sure how he ended up with Zevran...

If I end up playing the game again (which I will probably do, if only to see how it's different when you're a guy) I am definitely going for Zevran and his where the fuck is he even from accent.

I haven't been able to take Zevran seriously since someone pointed out that he sounds like Puss in Boots from the Shrek movies. I need to finish up my second play through before I get the second DA. I've been putting it off since my girl is going to have to choose between Alistair or Leliana. I hate having to choose, they're both so cute! ;_;

Are you playing on one of the console versions or PC?

LOL. My first thought when I heard him was Prince Naveen from The Princess and the Frog, actually. He annoyed for about .5 seconds and then became my favorite person to talk to. I always have him in my party, just to see how many times he'll hit on everyone.

I'm playing the PS3 version.

I haven't seen that yet. I'm way behind on my Disney movies. Though now when I watch it I'll be thinking "Naveen = Zevran", which will be entertaining for me, if nothing else. ^^ Oh, do you have Wynn yet? The two of them are pretty entertaining together.

How is it? I've got the PC version and I hear there's quite a bit of difference between the controls for the console and PC.

They're pretty funny--he keeps talking about her bosoms. Zevran and Morrigan are pretty funny too, just to see how her death threats just make him more interested.

It's pretty good--a little glitchy, and where there's a lot of enemies on screen the lag can be pretty bad.
